Huawei Modem Errors Solution
ERROR 633 AND ERROR 797
THE MODEM (OR OTHER CONNECTING DEVICE) IS ALREADY IN USE OR NOT CONFIGURED PROPERLY
Reason For Error :- The modem (or other connecting device) is already in use or not configured properly This Error Cause because of dial-up problems, or misconfiguration of the modem
Solution :- You have to follow following steps
- First Of all Right Click On MY COMPUTER >> MANAGE >> DEVICE MANAGER and Go-toMODEMS >> And Right Click On HUAWEI MOBILE CONNECT and Click on Uninstall.
- Remove Data Card (Modem) From The Computer.
- Re Insert the data card (Modem) to the computer and let it install all the drivers.
- Open Control Panel and Navigate to Phone and Modem Options >> Modems and then Remove all the modems listed there and again Re-Add All The Modems.
- If the problem not solved follow the procedure again.
ERROR 680 DIAL-UP PROBLEM
Reason For Error :- Error 680 Caused in Huawei Modem Because of Weak Signal on Mobile Network or Dial a number before the modem is ready.
Solution :- To solve Error, Close the Mobile Partner (Huawei Dashboard) and open it again .After showing the good Signal strength on the corner connect to the network.
ERROR 619 AND ERROR 628
CONNECTION WAS TERMINATED BY THE REMOTE COMPUTER BEFORE IT COULD BE COMPLETED
Reason For Error :- Error 619 Connection was terminated by the remote computer before it could be completed causes because of following reason
- Weak Signal Of Mobile Network
- Miss Configuration in the connection Profile.
Solution :- To Solve 619 Error Issue, go-to TOOLS >> OPTION >> PROFILE MANAGEMENTand check the APN, access number, subscriber name, and password are correct or not, if not then make them correct.
ERROR 720 :-
CONNECTION TO THE REMOTE COMPUTER COULD NOT BE ESTABLISHED
Reason For Error :- Following Reasons can causes the Error 720 (connection to the remote computer could not be established) in Huawei Modem.
- Weak Signal
- Window Patches Some Time
Solution :-
- Check the signal strength on Mobile Partner, or check the Green LED indicator on the Modem is flashes twice (searching for network). Therefore, the dial-up fails. so wait till it searching for the network
- After Searching the Blue LED indicator flashes once (indicating that the data card has registered with the WCDMA/HSDPA network) or the Green LED indicator flashes once(indicating that the data card has registered with the GPRS/EDGE network) and TRY To Connect.
- Open Control Panel >> Add or Remove Programs and click on select Show updates, uninstall the KB893066 and KB890923 patches, and then restart the PC.
